The advanced Mountain/Canyon Flying seminar builds on the fundamentals learned in the basic course - which is a prerequisite for the advanced courses. Canyon flying techniques, approaches, and departures of increasing difficulty are introduced - as well as an opportunity to spend several days enjoying the Idaho backcountry. An afternoon with a wilderness survival instructor is included in this course, taking the student group into the woods for hands on demonstrations and practice of critical survival skills. The advanced course includes up to 10 hours of dual Mountain/Canyon flight time.
